Making a Difference – One Youth at a Time<\/h1>\n

In the now-familiar story, a man happens upon a boy on the beach, earnestly picking up starfish that have washed up with the tide and tossing them back into the ocean.<\/p>\n

\u201cLittle boy,\u201d says the man. \u201cThere are miles and miles of\u00a0 beach and thousands of starfish that have washed up. You can\u2019t possibly make that much difference.\u201d<\/p>\n

Undeterred, the boy picks up another starfish and throws it into the sea.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt makes a difference to that one,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

At Tidewater Youth Services Foundation\u2014working hand-in-hand with our public partner, Tidewater Youth Services Commission<\/a>, we are diligently picking up all the starfish we can – one by one – and tossing them back into the ocean!<\/p>\n

Tidewater Youth Services Foundation is the charitable partner to a public agency,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tidewater Youth Services Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n
