A Fun, Festive, and Family-Friendly Event
Let’s start with our participants….They’re friendly, they’re fun, they’re full of energy! Many come back year after year – from our days at Norfolk Botanical Garden way back in 1995 to this upcoming race. Sometimes they enter the race as individuals. But sometimes they come as a group – and boy, do they ever have creative names – and costumes. How about the Eggnogger Joggers? Or the Jingleballerz? The Rally Gals! They come dressed up, they run together, they have lots of fun, and they support a great cause.
Yummy refreshments are a mainstay of the Santa Claus Shuffle. Forgot your coffee before the race??? Don’t worry! We will be providing fresh, hot coffee to everyone! We’ll also have bananas, hot chocolate, chocolate milk, and delicious bagels and doughnuts!
AFTER THE RACE – Visit one of Portsmouth’s wonderful attractions, like the Children’s Museum or have a nice brunch or lunch in an Olde Towne Restaurant such as Roger Brown’s, Olde Towne Coffee, or Public House!
